I am officially an evil spammer! Well, the intent is there. I created a Mail Chimp account, and dumped in the whole list of Battle Mines signups (about 1.6k). I believe it’s all legit thanks to this line in the Terms Of Use they signed:
22.3 Notice to You. Red Asteroid may provide you with notices, including those regarding changes to the Terms, by email, regular mail, text message, postings on or within the Services, or other reasonable means now known or hereafter developed.
My intent is to send out ONE EMAIL notifying that Battle Mines is now free to play, and maybe mention EGLX. Evil corporate giants do this all day of course, but knowing the universe humble near-invisible indie dev X will get the pants sued off him for one reason or another. (If not, regular newsletter here we come! ^^)
